WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE:

  • Perennial with trailing and twining stems, with highly variable leaves. 
  • Flowering pink flowers throughout year, mainly spring-summer.

WHERE IT GROWS & WHY:

  • Sclerophyll forest, woodland and grassland. 
  • Prefers well-drained soil and full sun.

MANAGEMENT/SIGNIFICANCE:

  • Grazed readily by stock. 
  • Useful small climber or trailer for gardens. 
  • Highly attractive in flower.
