WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE:

  • Erect, sticky, usually annual herb 20-80cm high. 
  • Usually multi-branched. 
  • Flowerin yellow flowers, September to November.

WHERE IT GROWS & WHY:

  • Widespread through most areas in region. 
  • Open woodland and sclerophyll forest, usually on sandy to sandy loams.

MANAGEMENT/SIGNIFICANCE:

  • Good habitat. 
  • Flowers provide nectar for native butterflies and moths. 
  • Ornamental - mass plant for best effect.
